Re-Opening of Clayhall Community Centre
In light of the government’s announcement regarding places of worship, Alhamdullilah we are pleased to announce the re-opening of congregational prayers at the CCC for both Zuhr & Asr Salahs from Monday 6th July for FARD SALAH ONLY in line with strict social distancing rules required by law.
No additional activities will take place during Phase 1 of the opening. Our aim is to maintain the health, safety and wellbeing of volunteers and worshippers, whilst complying with the law and guidance from Ulama, national and local authorities.
This will mean:
Centre opening 10 minutes before salah time
Limited capacity – offered on a first come, first served basis with maximum capacity of 20 musallees
Centre will be closed immediately after the Jamaat Salah
Please leave immediately after the Jamaat Salah as instructed by the Volunteers and Imam and pray Sunnahs & Nawafils at home
The Following individuals MUST NOT ATTEND the Centre:
People with a Cough or Fever
High-risk patients (shielding) or looking after a high-risk person
People with any underlying health conditions
People over the age of 70 Years or Children below the age of 10 years
Changes to the Centre:
Wudhu & toilet facilities are currently closed - Come with Wudhu
Wear a face mask as there is a 5 to 6 times lower chance of transmission of virus
Bring a full size musallah
Chairs\Qurans\Tasbih have been removed
If you do not have Wudhu, Musallah or Face Mask you will be denied entry. After Salah no loitering/hanging around outside, please go straight home.
New Entry/Exit procedures:
• Maintain social distancing at the entrance and exit door
• Temperature check at the entrance
• Enter 2 mussalees at a time to remove shoes and log your attendance
• No Sunnah/Nawafil prayers after Fard Salah
The above are the ‘Phase 1’ opening restrictions these will gradually be lifted and eased as per government guidance and advice from local health authorities. All prayer times are subject to change at short notice.
